1958 Studebaker President Sedan 289ci V8 for sale in Rockville MD

Offered for sale is this 1958 Studebaker President sedan finished in Light Blue/White over Blue Interior. This Studebaker is in fantastic condition inside and out with no alterations from original specifications. Powered by a 289ci V8 and mated to an automatic transmission with Studebaker's "TT Twin Traction" rear axle.


Believed to be a three-owner car, this President Sedan was delivered new to Russell Auto Sales in Middleport, Ohio and showed an original MSRP of $3,013.40. Optioned with the Flight O Matic transmission, Undercoating, Twin Traction Diff, AC-2884 Climatizer, AC-2095 Radio, and AC-2832 Manual Antenna. Believed to have been repainted once in it's original color combination.


The car was sold to its second Ohio-based owner in August 1983 with 28,600 miles by Jack Roush Motor Cars in West Virginia. The Studebaker would remain in Ohio after being sold to its third long term owner in August 1996 at 55,600 miles. 72,413 miles are shown on the 5 digit odometer and are believed to be original based on available documentation/records.


Under prior ownership – the brake system was completely rebuilt, radiator re-cored, new water pump, new grill, new side grills, new hood chrome, new trunk chrome, new back up lenses and housings, new brake light lenses and housings, bumpers rechromed, front end rebuilt, transmission rebuilt ~7k miles ago, and stainless exhaust.
